46 - Watchers

As the mystical couple, a much loved theme of the artist, play the game of chess, they are served wine by another wanton feminine creature. They watch in apparent bemusement at the great chasm and event before them. From the top, creatures have fallen or been thrown to their end. In this case, a deamon swordsman and a dragon battle to the death on the way down. Noting their hatred is such that they have no thought to save themselves but only that one must die. The watchers have a gun and can alter the outcome of this intriguing event.
